Documenting MTSS Processes
Hi all,
I'm curious how/where schools that use a tiered model (MTSS) document their processes and practices. Does this go in your teaching and learning policy? Your LS or inclusion policy? Do you have a standalone handbook? How do all teachers find information about processes and practices that they are involved in and/or responsible for?
Thanks!

We have a very lengthy digital standalone handbook. As Jami mentioned, a challenge is that people do not necessarily read it from cover to cover ;) One helpful thing has been lifting out some of the key elements and making them tangible and visible outside of the handbook- e.g. we made enormous (print size A0) copies of our referral flowchart and posted them in each Learning Support teacher's classroom and in the meeting room used for student support team meetings. We also made an incident response folder for each administrator, counselor, school psych etc. with copies of our flow charts and forms for our child protection and mental health and wellbeing protocols.
