Nigel Holdsworth

Nigel Holdsworth serves as the Director of Student Support at Shanghai American School in China. In this role, he provides school-wide leadership for Learning Support, School Counseling, and Child Safeguarding. A psychologist and advocate for whole-school approaches to wellbeing, Nigel is passionate about cultivating inclusive school cultures where all members of the community feel a strong sense of belonging and are supported to thrive. With extensive experience supporting youth across Australian and international schools, he brings expertise in student wellbeing, inclusive education, and strategic program development.
