Stacey Short

Stacey Short is beginning her fourth year as the Head of Student Services at IGB International School in Selangor, Malaysia. This role includes school-wide leadership for Learning Support, ESOL (English for Speakers of Other Languages), and Counseling. She has had an extensive career in education as a teacher, coach, Head of Department/Coordinator and Professional Development leader. Stacey's educational philosophy is grounded in the belief that relationships are essential to learning. She is inspired by her students and cherishes the moments when they can laugh together. She has worked in public and private schools in Canada, as well as International schools in Mexico, Thailand and Malaysia. Stacey is very excited for the professional opportunity to join the ISLES board in the role of Director of Educational Research.
